Our gastroenterologist & liver specialist Dr Sharad Deshmukh performed ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) on a 30 yrs/M patient with Bilirubin of 27 with jaundice (Bilirubin:27) & abdominal pain & fever for the last 3 months. After MRCP & detailed blood investigations found to have Haemolytic Jaundice with Biliary Obstruction secondary to multiple large (2 cm) CBD stones. The patient underwent ERCP at MediLiv Hospital. ERCP biliary sphincterotomy balloon sphincteroplasty and CBD stone clearance were done. Post-procedure, the patient improved clinically & sepsis improved, bilirubin decreased, the pain subsided & patient was discharged.
